Espoo, Finland, 2014–2024

Consultation for and participatory urban planning with private landowners and residents including reference plan for a 80 ha area as as a part of the city's master plan process. The work resulted in a master plan that is in line with the city’s objectives including an estimated 30,000-60,000 m2 increase of building right on a 14 ha land area. The economic value of the land increased with an estimated factor of at least 10x compared to its previous state as well as compared to the city’s initial proposal. The final amount of building right is determined in the final zoning plans.
